| Size, Channels and Samples Per
Second
|
Higher values for Bits Per Sample, Samples Per Second, and
Number of Channels will result in better recording quality, but
enlarge the file size as well.

| Volume
|
Drag a slider to set a recording volume. |

| Device
|
Choose an audio device from the drop down combo box.
Note: Multiple audio devices can be
connected to your system. For example, audio card and web camera
audio device. |

| Input
|
Each audio device may have multiple audio inputs. For example,
Microphone, Mixer, Line In etc.
Choose an audio input from the drop down combo box.
Note: To record sound coming from
other applications you need to choose a Mixer. |

| Codec
|
Choose an audio compressor (codec) from the drop down combo
box.
Advice: Use PCM (uncompressed) option
when possible.
Some audio compressors modify audio length that results in worse
synchronization.
